About Us

here to help you live a greener lifestyle

Farmer owned and operated, our mission is to fill the bellies of Ontarians with nutritious and delicious greens. Our founder, Ian Adamson, is Toronto born and raised between the Yukon and Ontario. He’s spent his life with plants. In the 15+ years he’s been growing salad greens and he’s figured out a few things;

Our Promise

We’re committed to organic farming and continue to explore new and innovative ways to make healthy food accessible to our local communities. Thank you for letting us help you feed your family.

locally grown

First, local is best. Plants get their nutrients from the soil, and nutrient density declines with age. From the time of harvest, the sooner you eat your veggies, the healthier they are.

Organic

Next, organic is a must. You can eat what Mother Earth intended for you without chemicals or toxins. Growing vegetables without chemicals is healthier for the person eating them, safer for the grower and more sustainable for the soil.

soil grown & sun kissed

Last, soil quality matters. What you feed a plant is what it’s feeding you. Using live soil enriched with natural organic matter like seaweed allows for the healthiest and happiest plants- and happy plants taste better.

So how do we achieve all this during our short Canadian summers and our freezing cold winters?

Fully automated precision farming.

Our greenhouse is a three and a half acre, world class facility. Being able to precisely control the growing environment allows us to produce at full capacity, 365 days a year. We’re also certified organic and committed to keeping our environmental footprint as small as possible. The greenhouse is run on solar and biomass energy, we have a water reuse program and use natural solutions to controlling pests, among other environmentally conscious efforts.
